We thank God for His presence and His promises.
Daniel 2:21 says, “He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.” So, give thanks that no matter which candidates win or lose – or which political party is in power – we know that God is sovereign and in charge!
Philippians 4:6 tells us “do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” The result? “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
The LORD looks down from heaven and sees the whole human race. From his throne he observes all who live on the earth. He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do. The best-equipped army cannot save a king, nor is great strength enough to save a warrior. Don’t count on your warhorse to give you victory— for all its strength, it cannot save you. But the LORD watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope is in you alone. (Psalms 33:13-22 NLT)
Finally, we remain vigilant.
We need to, as believers, not look at this as the world does (they see it as something that they are fighting and that they will overcome). We need to see that this is in the hands of you Lord and we need to go to Him for encouragement, strength, wisdom, and direction as to how to relate to what is happening. It is not only the virus but the spirit of the age and how that Spirit will effect us and our ability to walk upright in the years ahead. Things of this nature effect and change the way people live and see life.

Berean Bible Fellowship grew out of a Sunday evening home Bible Study, over forty years ago, where the teaching of God’s Word was the major emphasis. Still today, we have kept the teaching of God’s Word the major emphasis in our services.
