Below are close estimates of those who died for this country, for its freedom. The freedom fought for and won is now being threatened, read, and continue to see the dangers this country and our freedom is in jeopardy of losing!
Nearly 500,000 military personnel died during the U.S. Civil War. That’s almost half of all Americans who have ever died during wartime, and more than a hundred times more than died during the American Revolution. Since the Revolutionary War ended, 646,596 American troops have died in battle and more than 539,000 died from other, non-combat related causes.
Revolutionary War Deaths–, about 6,800 died in battle, with disease killing about 17,000 others.
War of 1812 Deaths-some 15,000 men died, with only about 2,260 from battle, the rest from disease.
Mexican-American War Deaths-about 1733 were killed in the war, but 11,550 were killed with disease and other mishaps.
Civil War Deaths-Americans killed in the Civil War at around 650,000, killed in action, disease and other causes.
Indian Wars Deaths–Estimates are that some 106,000 American troops fought to “tame the West” and at least 1,000 died.
Spanish-American War Deaths–only 385 dying in combat, with more than 2000 dying by disease.
World War I Deaths–53,402 fell to the enemy and another 63,114 to other causes.
World War II Deaths-appx. 290,026 and for every 1,000 Americans who served in the war, 8.6 were killed in action, three died from other causes, and 17.7 received non-fatal combat wounds.
Korean War Deaths-36,574 Americans died fighting in the Korean War.
Vietnam Deaths-More than 58,220 American troops died during the course of the Vietnam War.
Gulf War Deaths-Gulf War Deaths, 141, wounded 357, with other deaths of 110.
Iraq and Afghanistan Deaths-5,364 died in action, and another 1,476 died in non-hostile incidents.
We owe a debt of gratitude to all who have given their lives for the freedom of this country, to all who have been wounded and all who have served. Thank you all for you service, May God bless you, and may you come to know Christ as your saviour if you do not already know Him!

J. Edgar Hoover– identified the root cause of crime: “The criminal is the product of spiritual starvation. Someone failed miserably to bring him to know God, love Him and serve Him.”
Italian Socialist Antonio Gramsci understood that America and the West could not be defeated on the battlefield, but it could rot from within through what has been termed “the long march through the institutions.”
Gramsci wrote in his Prison Notebooks, 1937: “The civilized world has been thoroughly saturated with Christianity for 2,000 years … Any country grounded in Judeo-Christian values cannot be overthrown until those roots are cut … Socialism is precisely the religion that must overwhelm Christianity. In the new order, socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches, and the media … transforming the consciousness of society.”

Edgar Hoover wrote: “A child who has been taught the laws of God, should have little trouble respecting the laws of men.” He stated: “No amount of law enforcement can solve a problem that goes back to the family.” “The American home … ceased to be a school of moral and spiritual education. When spiritual guidance is at a low ebb, moral principles are in a state of deterioration. Secularism advances when men forget God.”

The FBI’s first Director J. Edgar Hoover admonished: “What we need in America today is a vigorous return to the God of our Fathers, and a most vigorous defense against the minion of godlessness and atheism.”
William Holmes McGuffey warned in his Newly Revised Rhetorical Guide, 1853:
“If you can induce a community to doubt the … authenticity of the Scriptures … whether there be an eternal state of retribution beyond the grave; or whether there exists any such being as God, you have broken down the barriers of moral virtue, and hoisted the flood-gates of immorality and crime.”
May God have mercy on us….May there be a true repentance and a return to the Word of God! All nations eventually fall, they fall from within when morality and greed so overwhelm that nation, at that point there is then no hope of change, only a judging of that nation. We have seen it in history, God is no respecter of persons or nations, but He hears a humble heart. Let us fall on our knees and seek the Lord while there is still time.
